Bissell and Main 1972 Note Cards
A slice of life on an average 1972 afternoon at the corner of Bissell Street and Main Street in Manchester, CT. Even though this is the famous State Theater building (now a church), small stores occupied the space to the left and right of the theater. These stores remained in the building until it was sold and renovated in 1974. The Corner Soda Shop was a great place to bring a date, and then maybe go next door to the Jewelers to look at rings!
