Regal Cruisin’ 1981 Post Cards
Regal Men's Shop was where all men went for formals and fashions in town. This early 20th century building on Main Street first housed Weldon Pharmacy, and beginning in 1940, the very popular Regal Men's Shop as well. In 1966, the Men's Shop took over the entire building and built an addition onto the north side of the structure.
This illustration depicts the building as of 1981, along with a few vintage cars which you could always find "Cruisin'" on Main Street. To many in the town's dismay, Regal closed in 2000, though the building still exists and is in good use.
