Marlow's '76 Glossy Prints

Regular price $49.00 $0.00

If you could not find what you were looking for anywhere else, there was a pretty good chance that you could find it at Marlow's because, as the saying went, "Marlow's has EVERYTHING!" and they usually did.

Opening in 1911 and located on Main Street in Downtown Manchester, Connecticut, Nathan Marlow and his son George’s legendary department store moved into the vacated Orford Hotel in 1924 and remained a town fixture until closing its doors on August 24, 2002.

This illustration depicts the store during America’s bicentennial year of 1976 when Independence Day fireworks were held at Mt. Nebo off Spring Street.

Relive history with this original illustration created exclusively by CT Designs of Manchester, CT, based on images from the photo archives of the Manchester Historical Society and other research. Enjoy the vibrant colors, appreciate the historical accuracy, and examine the minute detail of this artwork.

These glossy prints have a soft shine, which cuts down glare for easy viewing, and are available in the following sizes:

24" x 8"  •  30" x 10"  •  39" x 13"
48" x 16"  •  54" x 18"
