Pero Fruit Stand 1966 Matte Prints
Pero Fruit Stand on Oakland Street in Manchester was the go-to place for produce in town. Open year-round, it sold farm-fresh fruit, vegetables, groceries, and even frozen food. Started by Joe Pero as Peros Orchards in the 1920s, it was bought and run by the King family in later years and lasted until the late 1990s.
